starting at September 17.
WHO IS ALPHA FOR?
Alpha is for everyone, yet it is particularly designed for people that are not so familiar with going to church.
HOW DOES AN ALPHA SESSION LOOK LIKE?
Each session begins with something to eat – fika, or some other refection. After that, we watch a talk together; they’re about thirty minutes long and explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity. Each talk is designed to engage and inspire conversation – probably the most important part of any Alpha is the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There's no obligation to say anything and there's nothing you can't say (seriously). It's an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment. Alpha will be run in English, Swedish, Spanish and Arabic this fall. The Alpha evenings start at 6 pm and ends about 8 pm.
HOW IS THE ALPHA COURSE RUN?
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, and is run over ten weeks. Each talk looks at a different question around faith, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus?, How can we have faith? and How does God guide us?
Alpha is free of charge, but please fill out the notice of interest below if you'd like to come and try Alpha, to seeing if it's something for you. Filling it out is not conclusive, and you're of course still welcome without having done so.
